SALADE LENTILLE (lentil salad)

1-cup lentils

2 carrots (diced)

1 medium onion (diced)

2-3 tsps of Madell’s All Natural Minced Garlic

2 bay leaves

1/2 tsp dried thyme

2 tbls olive oil

2 tbls lemon juice

1 bunch celery (diced)

1 bunch parsley (chopped)

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp Caribbean Home-Style All Natural Hot-Sauce

Medium saucepan, add lentils, carrots, onion, garlic, bay leaf, and thyme.  Add water enough to cover 1 inch. Bring to a full boil.  Reduce heat.   Keep uncovered, allow to simmer for 15-20 minutes until lentils are tender, not soft. Drain out water from lentils and vegetables. Add olive oil, lemon juice, celery, parsley, salt, and pepper. Serve hot.
