The Company
Caribbean Home-Style Products,is a Home-based business founded in March of 2001, in West Haven, Connecticut, USA. Caribbean Home-Style Products was designed with you in mind. The idea for the formation of this type of business came up some five years prior to its official lunching. But it was only five years after this plan materialized into a tangible business. The aim of its foundation is to introduce a new type of product, one, which is rich with various types of natural spices commonly used throughout the Caribbean islands, and is made available at the most affordable price to the average consumer. Although we are home-based business our products are commercially manufactured which means that none of the products we sell are made at home. However, in order to ensure the uniqueness of the taste of our products, we supply all the ingredients to the manufacturer.

History
In March of 2001, I started marketing an All Natural Caribbean Hot-Sauce. A product developed from a secret family recipe given to me by my beloved great grand mother. This Hot-Sauce is rich with various types of natural spices that are used throughout the Caribbean and is made available to the average consumer at the most affordable price. The idea for marketing this type of product came about when I first started to make a very small quantity for a Caribbean Restaurant owner. My first commercial venture finally materialized in 2001. I have since added one more product to the line, Madame Wob Dwiyet All Natural Creole Seasoning, which introduces a cultural feature of my native country. I also am writing a Caribbean Cookbook that would feature these types of seasonings. In recent years the United States has been experiencing the emergence of small businesses that are more and more impacting the U.S. economy in a very big way. More women are becoming part of this sector. As the U.S. is becoming more ethically and culturally diversified, there is a need for a broader introduction of such ethnic products. I have a lot to contribute towards this diversity. Women like myself, who come from various cultural backgrounds can contribute to a healthy economy through education advancements, but need outside financial support though organizations like yours. If I were fortunate to be a recipient of a scholarship from your organization, it would add towards the enhancement of my business and entrepreneurial skills.
